Itemised receipt of goods, drink, and services laid out for the 10th of August in the amount of three pounds four shillings nine pence. Items include six gallons of Rhenish wine at six shillings a gallon; a pound of tobacco; double-refined sugar; six lemons; a half ounce of nutmeg; for four men for the day and drink for them; for porterage for bringing the wine and carrying back the basket etc.; for cards and sealing wax; charges for bottles lost and glasses broken at several times in Mr Clavell's time; and for penny post letters sent in the Company's service on several occasions.
