Items include six gallons of Rhenish wine at six shillings a gallon; a pound of tobacco; double-refined sugar; six lemons; a half ounce of nutmeg; for four men for the day and drink for them; for porterage for bringing the wine and carrying back the basket etc.; for cards and sealing wax; charges for bottles lost and glasses broken at several times in Mr Clavell's time; and for penny post letters sent in the Company's service on several occasions.
