i: certification that George Tokefield has a pensioner's place at Charterhouse, 3 May 1681, with receipt for charity payment signed by George Tokefield, 4 May 1681; also included is an exhibition caption for the item and a note giving the title of George Tokefield's catalogue of books entered into the Company registers, printed 1663 and now at the Bodleian Library [3 items].
ii: letters and other documents relating to relief of suffering of French clerical refugees, 19 Oct 1792-4 Jun 1793 [4 items]. Includes the application of the United Committees of Subscribers for the Relief of the suffering clergy of France, requesting the donation of the Stationers' Company; Letter from Mr Bacon requesting the use of Stationers' Hall for the anniversary dinner of the sons of the clergy in May 1793; Letter from the parish officers of St Martin's Ludgate requesting the assistance of the Stationers' Company towards the relief of the French refugee clergy.
iii: letter of sheriffs respecting subscription to the fund for relieving poor freemen, 19 Oct 1809.
