          Itemised bill of Robert Stephens in the sum of three pounds for expenses incurred in the Company's service. Items include: going to the Lord Bishop of London three times delivering almanacs, gave to the Bishop's porter, gave to the custom house porters, attending Parliament about the Act several days and writing a copy, gave for information against Mr Downing's private press that was doing the white letter primer, coach, constable and smith and porters in bringing to Hall, service at Oxford in helping to move the printing house. Signed in receipt by Stephens, 15 April 1693. Place names: Stationers' Hall, Oxford. Personal names: Robert Stephens, William Phillipps, Downing (likely William).
