Bill of the beadle Nicholas Hooper for expenses incurred in the service of the Company. Items include: writing the bylaws, writing the agreement with St Martin's Ludgate, writing a bond from Mr Grandorge, taking an abstract of several catalogues of books published 1688-1694, transcribing the same catalogue and making copies for the King's Library and University libraries. Received of Warden Phillipps in the sum of seven pounds twelve shillings, 18 June 1694. Place name: St Martin's Ludgate. Personal names: Nicholas Hooper, Christopher Grandorge, William Phillipps.
