The second, also dated 18 July 1685, for 49 shillings, for faggots, stock wood, and stock coals for the last year ending Lady day last. Taylor notes "this should have bin pd by the Re^ntor Warden." Itemised account of expenses and income between October 1685 to May 1686 made by the Clerk, John Garrett. Expenses include binding the calendar book of apprentices; binding the book of the copies of charters; for receiving rents; for his salary; for a copy of the grant of the Mount to the Company; for a special grant from the Company to Garrett for "extraordinary service;" for entering 28 freemen from October 1685 to 07 May 1686. Income includes: the rents collected; and money received for entering 36 copies from the 1st of February through 07 May. The income totals 21 pounds eight shillings, and the expenses total 13 pounds, nine shillings, six pence, with seven pounds, 18 shillings, six pence due from Garrett to the Company.
