Items include: paid the labourer for five days work, paid the stonecutter, paid a trimmer for the chimney, paid for two pound of lead, paid for bolts pins and staples, paid for an iron grate in the garden, paid one shilling with Mr Mortlock about the spilling(?) that Mr Dawks prints, spent upon the carpenter labourer and bricklayer. Below is a receipt of the same date signed by Stephens for his quarterage payment. Items include: scouring and drawing of a great carpet, going to the custom house twice, paid Adam the porter for bringing a heap of psalms to the Hall that were doing for Parkhurst from Astwood's, stopped some hymns at Mr Snowden's that was doing for Parkhurst and gave him warning to proceed no further till receiving orders from the Company, a bolt on the garden door.
