Key activities supported by the charity include: postgraduate bursaries, scholarships and awards, Saturday Schools, Shine School Media awards, annual or one-off grants as welfare support. The Foundation also supports various charities in the City of London; a notable example being the funding of bookbinding qualifications for ex-Servicemen as part of the Bound by Veterans initiative. The Foundation’s main fund is amalgamated from old gifts and bequests.
