Five unnumbered pages are bound at the front, some blank, some with memoranda. Frequently the date or year is omitted but the memoranda are believed to date 1600-1615. The main series of memoranda is principally a record of titles to be 'staied', or not to be entered to any but the property owner named, to be entered once the latter has obtained authority, 1603-1606. Includes one title 'printed at Edinburgh 1592'.

An entry dated 4 Aug, believed to be 1600, records four books 'to be staied': As You Like It, Henry V, Every Man in his Humour and Much Ado About Nothing.

The penultimate entry in this section of unnumbered pages records that a specified title is to be transferred to a named individual if the current holder of copy fails to repay a debt to him, 21 Feb 1614.

The final entry records the instruction to notify a named individual 'if any of Mr Deane of Windsor copies come to be entred', 9 May 1615.
