The Stock Board consisted of six Stock Keepers, appointed annually on the 26th of March. The Board decided printing and puublishing policy and fixed dividends, but the assignment of shares was decided by the Stationers' Company Court. The Treasurer kept the accounts for the English Stock, looked after its daily running, and attended meetings of the Stock Board.
