In front endpapers is tipped a signed Commissioners of Duties' licence to the treasurer, requiring him to enter into the dividend books the numbers of receipts without required stamps and to be able to produce these receipts for inspection, 4 Dec 1846; sections to 1 Jun 1847 have pencil annotations changing the content to the section after.
