All minutes are signed by the master.

Typical order of entries for ordinary court meetings is: place, date and time of court meeting; list of those present, consisting of the master, wardens, assistants and liverymen; report of deaths, when relevant; admission of new court assistants, when relevant; election of company officials, when relevant; binding of apprentices, cloathing and being made free of the company; approval of the orders of court from the preceding court meeting; details of English Stock annuities; report of the master and wardens' committee; reports of other committees, when relevant; approval of applications for the freedom and livery; other business; names and personal details of those cloathed, made free of the company or bound as apprentices.

Inserted into front endpapers is a contents list, giving years, months and page numbers.

Entry for 25 Jul 1961 records that Royal Assent had been given to the The Stationers' and Newspaper Makers' Company Bill for the redemption and extinguishment of the English Stock, and gives a complete list of all liverymen and widows of liverymen entitled to annuities under the Act as at 1 Jul 1961.

Inserted into page 552 is a letter dated 22 Mar 1968 from Michael Adeane of Buckingham palace to master Henry Thompson, thanking the company on behalf of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh for its hospitality on the occasion of a reception given by the Royal Literary Fund.
