All minutes are signed by the master; minutes are given for ordinary court meetings, special courts, court meetings for the election of corporation officers and meetings of the court and partners.

Typical order of entries for ordinary court meetings is: place, date and time of court meeting; list of those present, consisting of the master, wardens, assistants and liverymen; report of deaths, when relevant; admission of new court assistants, when relevant; binding of apprentices, cloathing and being made free of the company; payment of charitable annuities from 30 Jul 1957 onward; approval of the orders of court from the preceding court meeting; report on shares of the English Stock; resolutions relating to recommendations and reports of committees; payment of charitable annuities to 4 Jun 1957; other business; names and personal details of those cloathed, made free of the company or bound as apprentices.

Spine reads 'Court Book 14 April 1953 to 5 July 1960' and 'm'.

Pasted in volume are memoranda:

pages 500-501: memorandum dated 31 Oct 1958 by William Penman titled 'Vacant Site'.

pages 502-503: undated memorandum by G W Mathews titled 'Building Site'.

Inserted into page 618 is a slip of paper with the caption 'Order of the Court of 3 May 1960 concerning publication of Blagden's History to be launched with a sherry party at Stationers' Hall'.
