All minutes are signed by the master; minutes are given for ordinary court meetings, special courts, court meetings for the election of corporation officers and meetings of the court and partners.
Typical order of entries for ordinary court meetings is: place, date and time of court meeting; list of those present, consisting of the master, wardens, assistants and liverymen; report of deaths, when relevant; approval of the orders of court from the preceding court meeting; admission of new court assistants, when relevant; binding of apprentices, cloathing and being made free of the company; disposal of English Stock shares; resolutions, including those relating to recommendations and reports of committees; payment of charitable annuities; names and personal details of those cloathed, made free of the company or bound as apprentices.
Spine reads 'Court Book 31 July 1945 to 3 March 1953' and 'l'.
Inserted into front endpapers is an undated printed list of names, probably court assistants.
Inscribed on pages 570-574 are copy minutes of a Stationers' Company and Printing Industry Technical Board meeting at Stationers' Hall, 21 May 1952.
