Bill of the Master, Robert Clavell, in the sum of one pound seventeen shillings. The bill is split across two days of expenses. 12 January 1699 lists expenses incurred going to and from the House of Lords when the bill about printing was read. Items include: travel costs, coffeehouse at Temple, given doorkeeper at House of Lords for his information and calling out Lords, coffeehouse at Lambeth, to Mr Allen he got a copy of the bill, sent the bill to Mr Rawlins. 16 January 1699 lists expenses incurred attending the Lords about the printing bill. Items include: travel to and from Westminster, spent at coffeehouse and Dog Tavern with Mr Beckly, spent with Captain Mullys (?). Signed in receipt by Clavell on verso, 30 January 1699. Place names: Temple, Westminster, Lambeth, Dog Tavern. Personal names: Robert Clavell, William Rawlins, Mr Allen, Mr Beckly, Captain Mullys.
