Two bills on one sheet for expenses incurred by the beadle, Randall Taylor. The first, dated 18 July 1685, for four pounds, perhaps a bit grumpy: " Receved ten of Mr Warden Cotterill ffoure pounds ffor my quarters sallary due att Lady day Last by order of the Court of Assistants which sume should have bin Payd by the Renter Warden I say Receued by me Randall Taylor." The second, also dated 18 July 1685, for 49 shillings, for faggots, stock wood, and stock coals for the last year ending Lady day last. Taylor notes "this should have bin pd by the Re^ntor Warden." Verso: "Randal Taylors last Bill." Personal names: Randall Taylor.
