Bill of expenses incurred January-February 1699, entitled Warden Simpson's Bill. Items include: waiting at the Lords house about the Act, ale, expenses with Mr Stephens three days going to get subscriptions to dine with the Lord Mayor, mending the hall door key, mending the garden door lock, a hammer to break the coals, gifts to the poor, his salary, wateridge with Mr Stephens to the parliament house. Signed in receipt by the beadle, Nicholas Hooper in the sum of three pounds thirteen shillings ten pence, 8 April 1699. Place names: Stationers' Hall, House of Parliament.
