Items include: payment of soldiers, powder, travel to Westminster 'at haste', ale and tobacco for Ash Wednesday, wateridge to Westminster and back after candle light to find Mr Allen, paid a porter to go to Mr Boddington and Mr Dalton into Cornhill, payment to the poor, his salary. Signed in receipt by Hooper in the sum of four pounds five shillings eight pence, 5 May 1697. Place names: Westminster, Cornhill.
