Itemised bill for a dinner at Stationers' Hall on 10 August 1688 in the amount of 37 pounds nine shillings two pence. Items include: seven bisques of fish; six venison pasteys ("all but veinson"); six dishes of umbell pies; two large dishes of tarts and custards; four dishes of tarts; a brace of bucks; four shoulders and umbells; four dishes of fruit; a leg of mutton; 12 tongues and udders; three dishes of artichokes ("harteychokes"); lard and sauce for the venison; lard and sauce for the tongues and udders; lard and sauce for the turkeys; gravy for the wild fowl; butter to baste the meat; salt, vinegar, pepper, and flour; brooms and candles; pipkins and dresser cloths; herbs and flowers; oranges; 18 turkeys; 18 ducks; 14 fat chickens; eight tame pigeons; eight partridges; eight quail; two rabbits; and a charge for dressing dinner.
