According to Myers, 'Records of the Stationers' Company', p.39, 'The volume was in regular use from 1786 to 1973, when the then Beadle, Stanley Osborne, retired. It contains a great deal of material not noted elsewhere, such as dates of death of liverymen, obituary notices, signatures of liverymen and the like.'
