            Receipts for monies paid out by the Treasurer, the manager of the English Stock whose duties included keeping the Stock accounts, looking after its paper and book stocks in the warehouse and organising printing of the books; many receipts consist of bills with receipt of payment added at a later date; some unreceipted bills are also included.

            Specimens of almanacs produced by Thomas Carnan and purchased possibly for use in the trial; specimens are dated 1774, 1779 [3 copies] and 1781; 3 specimens dated 1774 and 1779 have contemporary, signed annotations stating that they had been bought from Mr Carnan; specimen dated 1774 also has a contemporary, signed annotation stating that it had been produced and shown to Maddeson Hunt and was referred to in his affidavit of 19 Nov 1773.
