Account by the Company clerk, John Garrett, of expenses and income from 1687-1688. Expenses include: paying the Town Clerk for copies of orders of King and Counsel and Lord Mayors; for several times attending the Town Clerk for them; paying the Town Clerk more for two orders of Lord Mayor and Court of Aldermen; for several times attending for the same; paying the Town clerk for a copy of the King's letters patent in Latin; for often attending the Town Clerk for the same; for translating the sameamd examining it with the town Clerk's translation; paying the Master and Mr. Tooke what they paid the town Clerk for copies of orders; half a year of his salary; a fee for receiving Mr Bolsworth's rent. Income includes receiving rents from Mr Bolsworth; and for entering 46 copies into the registrs from 01 July 1687 to 22 February 1688. The expenses totalled 15 pounds eight shillings, and the income totalled 14 pounds three shillings, so Garrett received one pound five shillings in payment. Signed in receipt by John Garrett.
